"C" is for Chrysler

2017 Chrysler Pacifica is 'Sesame Street' bound

What happens when you put Bert and Ernie in the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica? "Listen! Drive! Surprise!"

The Chrysler brand is now a proud sponsor of 'Sesame Street,' a commitment that includes supporting the show on PBS as well as 10 co-branded videos for parents available across the brand’s digital and social channels.

In the first eight videos, available now on Chrysler’s YouTube channel, Elmo, Oscar, The Count, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover and Abby play Guy Smiley’s new game show: “Listen! Drive! Surprise!”

The game show features Team Grover, driving a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, versus Team Bert, driving a Chrysler Pacifica. Each team must complete a series of driving challenges quickly and safely. As viewers of 'Sesame Street' know, listening carefully and following directions is important, but it can sometimes be hard to do.

Luckily for the Muppets, the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid offer more than 100 standard and available safety and security features including 360-degree Surround View camera and ParkSense Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist.

Which team will follow directions to victory? Go to Chrysler’s YouTube channel to find out!

How did Chrysler get to 'Sesame Street'?

Regarding the collaboration between the Chrysler brand and Sesame Workshop, Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America said, "'Sesame Street' has a powerful connection with families and this partnership allows the Chrysler brand to support their work around the world. As a trusted family brand, we were looking for a like-minded partner who possessed a thoughtful and engaging approach.”

Steve Youngwood, Chief Operating Officer of Sesame Workshop, said, “We’re thrilled to work with a brand that stands for a deep commitment to families and children.” “Partnering with Chrysler will help us extend our reach in new and creative ways, and support Sesame Workshop's nonprofit mission to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder."
